Collection, use and disclosure of personal information
The personal information collected through the Child Care Licensing Portal (CCLP) is for the purpose of managing child care services for licensed facility-based,
family day home agencies, and group family child care programs. This collection is authorized by section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Prior to entering any third party personal information into the CCLP, users and delegated users must ensure that they obtain
authorization from the individual to which the information relates to disclose that individual's personal information to the
Department through the CCLP.

viruses, malicious code, or harmful or offensive content. The CHILD CARE LICENSING PORTAL Services may, at times, not be accessible
for various reasons, including system maintenance.

Should the CCLP contain links to other websites, under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall the
Government of Alberta (GOA) be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising
out of the use of, or the inability to use, the linked website(s). Further, the GOA is not responsible for the content or the
privacy practices of other websites. We encourage you to examine each website's privacy policy and disclaimers to inform decisions
regarding the accuracy, reliability and correctness of any materials and/or information located on those websites.
Monitoring
Alberta retains the right to monitor the CHILD CARE LICENSING PORTAL Services from time to time and to disclose any information as
necessary to: (i) satisfy any law, regulation or other governmental request or to assist in the pursuit of any legal action or
law enforcement activity; (ii) to operate or improve the performance of the CHILD CARE LICENSING PORTAL Services; and/or
(iii) to ensure or enforce compliance with this agreement.
Account
Users must inform Alberta Government of any changes to their contact information, including job titles, within thirty days (30) of
any such changes. If any of the Users cease their employment with the Organization, the Organization shall immediately notify Alberta
of the change in employment status.
